2014年12月18日，德州註冊公司Dynamic Hosting Company LLC於美國德州東區地方法院馬歇爾分院(District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Marshall Division)分別提告華碩電腦 (ASUS Computer International)、Garmin International, Inc.以及 Garmin USA, INC.,三家科技廠商侵權，Dynamic Hosting主張被告侵犯其所擁有兩件專利US 5,826,026以及US 6,216,156有關將網路訊息直接輸出或輸入於硬式拷貝裝置的傳訊器，違反35 U.S.C. §271、281、284及285造成侵權行為。
Dynamic Hosting Company LLC成立於2013年4月，同註冊於德州的Piney Woods Patent Group LLC為其管理成員。Piney Woods Patent Group LLC成立於2010年，Michael Collins為主要管理者和註冊代理人。(180字；表3)
