新聞：（2007年06月14日科技日報-夏普再度控告瀚宇彩晶侵權）日本夏普控告台灣LCD面板製造商瀚宇彩晶侵犯該公司四項LCD專利權。根據夏普表示，該公司已在德州一地方法院對瀚宇彩晶提起訴訟，要求賠償並禁止瀚宇彩晶的LCD面板及其相關產品之銷售[1]。

評析：
根據新聞報導彙整[1][2]，夏普（Sharp, http://www.sharp.co.jp）與瀚宇彩晶（HannStar, http:// www.hannstar.com）訴訟事件時間序列如下所示：
- 2003年1月：夏普與瀚宇彩晶簽訂技術授權合約。約定2006年12月31日協議期滿。
- 2006年1月：夏普表示瀚宇彩晶未支付所有的許可費用。夏普在日本東京地方法院起訴瀚宇彩晶。
- 2006年12月：東京法院做出了有利於夏普的判決。瀚宇彩晶提出上訴。
- 2007年6月：夏普在美國德州控告瀚宇彩晶侵權。
夏普控告瀚宇彩晶之四件專利如表一所示，包括專利名稱、全球專利家族與優先權日等，專利全文pdf可直接於Google Patent Search下載，或如表一連結。
此外，根據國際消息指出[3]，夏普已於昨日（2007年8月6日）在美國德州向三星電子（Samsung Electronics）提出控告，指稱三星的電視、電腦顯示器與手機相關產品侵犯其5項專利，對應專利資訊亦如表二所示。顯然，夏普為了在液晶電視全球市占率上拉近與Sony與三星，已經不惜啟動與三星的專利戰爭了。
最後，瀚宇彩晶和三星電子都要戒慎小心，夏普TFT LCD專利可不是數十到數百個而已，據估計夏普在各國LCD專利至少有3,000個以上，佈局相當縝密。(921字；表2)
