2013年1月22日，一家專事設計生產麥克風等收音設備、名為sE Electronics International, Inc.(下稱sE)之私有公司(family-owned and operated company)，向美國加州中區聯邦地院提起專利侵權告訴，控告中國大陸公司奧創電子旗下品牌愛克創(Alctron Electronics Co., Ltd.)、美國公司Q-Mic LLC(下稱Q-Mic)、以Post Audio為品牌名稱之美國公司Santa Barbara Guitar Partners, LLC(下稱Post Audio)、以Micco Studio為名牌名稱之英國公司Bicci (UK) Limited (下稱Bicci)、以及在美國販售Bicci產品之美國公司Eleven Dimensions Media, LLC等5家公司，其所製造販售之用於收音麥克風的錄音過濾罩產品(reflexion filter，為可在家中或非錄音室環境中協助錄製現場聲音並降低背景雜音干擾之可攜式裝置)，侵犯sE所擁有、並已商業化成具體產品之專利權利。
sE在其訴狀中指出，Q-Mic、Post Audio與Bicci之系爭產品均為愛克創所代工製造，而這些產品除侵犯本案系爭專利外，並誤導消費者將之與sE產品混淆，構成不公平競爭行為(unfair Competition)，而其模仿sE產品之商品外觀(表徵)讓消費者產生混淆，則是構成商品外觀(表徵)之侵權行為(trade dress infringement)。此外，由於REFLEXION FILTERS為sE在美國之註冊商標，所以sE特別控告Q-Mic之系爭產品使用Reflexion Filters之名稱是構成商標侵權。
本案系爭專利為美國專利編號US 8,191,678，名稱為「用來吸收聲能之裝置及其使用(Apparatus for absorbing acoustical energy and use thereof)」，於2012年6月5日核發，發明人為sE現任總裁SiWei Zou(鄒四維)。
SiWei Zou為學習古典音樂出身，曾任上海歌劇院指揮和作曲家以及上海音樂學院客座教授，於2000年與James Ishmaev-Young, Mitch Carey 以及Phil Smith創設了sE這家公司，其營業處所設於中國上海與英國Hitchin。(766字；表2)
