2010年3月26日Man Machine Interface Technologies, LLC公司 (以下簡稱：Man Machine Interface Tech) 於加州中部聯邦地院提告飛利浦電子(Philips Electronic)專利侵權，有關於遠端控制裝置(remote control devices)侵犯了原告擁有的專利(US6069614)。該系爭專利由獨立發明人TARA CHAND SINGHAL轉讓給Man Machine Interface Tech而取得授權。
