2010年3月23日固態照明大廠菲利浦電子有限公司(KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS ELECTRONICS N.V.；以下簡稱PHILIPS)，，於美國麻州地方法院提告Pixelrange 與 James Thomas Engineering兩家公司，關於照明裝置(lighting devices)侵犯了Philips所擁有的6項專利(US6,250,774; US6,016,038; US6,150,774; US6,806,659; US6,788,011; and US6,975,079)，非法製造、生產、進口、銷售及批售等侵權行為。
據其訴狀指稱，Pixelrange的產品型號：PixelMax, PixelPar, PixelLine, PixelBrick, and PixelArc，侵犯了Philips該6項專利。
據原告訴狀指稱，原告向被告尋求侵權損害賠償，同時也要求美國ITC發出，永久禁制令(permanent limited exclusion order)及永久禁止命令(Cease and Desist Order)。
